Byron, your way of describing our trip makes me look back it as more amazing than I thought on the surface; your language helps bring out some of the dazzle, pazaz, and mystique that was hidden within and underneath the trip. thanks

Wow, I wasn't aware of those statistics. That's pretty amazing to see on paper.

I feel like a biddy when I say...back in my day at APU....we were not allowed to have dances on campus... ;) Actually that was around them time we started having them in the warehouse over on West Campus. Glad they are being held on campus now, I would have loved that event!

Dear Byron, thanks for sharing. That truly is refreshing to hear, and how beautiful it is when the body works together in harmony without judging ourselves in others' eyes or judging them!

My thoughts: Spiritual gifts are amazing in their universal nature. Especially the greatest spiritual gift, rebirth and new life in Christ. Yet, they still remain mysterious; the Holy Spirit still remains mysterious. I always wonder Why did God work His gifts in me at that one time; why not all the time? Or, why doesn't the Holy Spirit work through me in greater ways? If I am truly an instrument for God's hand at work here, why doesn't He play me louder or more often? Then I get to questioning myself and what I am doing wrong so that God can't work through me... yet in the end, as of now, I feel God is telling me to rest, actively rest, in Him - He will use me when He deems best and in the ways He deems fit. I wanna be dang ready though when the time comes. I'm enjoying your posts. I pray God uses you mightily brother; I see God working in you, even though I don't know what to say all the time or how to be a friend, a true man of God. Thanks for being there for me in my ups and my downs.

Hey Bryon, this blog thing is pretty cool. Ran into your dad a few days ago and told him that the black wrist band I was wearing was a reminder to pray for you this summer. By now you probably have already come back to the states and are back in Africa, so I'll continue to wear the band and pray for divine encounters. God bless, David Bartholomew
